We were on a short vacation to San Diego. we stayed in an inexpensive hotel on the bay, All around the bay were boats of all kinds from dingy's to sail boats to big boats and even much much bigger yachts. I am saying really big 30-40 million dollar SHIPS!

Also in S.D. were many wealthy people driving expensive cars, motorhomes and living in hilltop mansions which could see the bay or ocean. We were amazed at all the wealth every where we went in this beautiful seaside city of S.D.

Our Youth Are Great

God is at work in the lives of our young people. Many have re-dedicated their lives to the Lord, one is becoming a youth/leader intern, another just recently received Christ as Savior and a young man has discovered his leadership skills as a result of this trip.

Helping Haiti Heal

It will take many many believers and lots of resources over a period of years but God is faithful.

Our burden for Haiti is still so strong and the great needs are ever present.

What if every believer gave just 5.00 per month to help rescue and educate orphan kids? That would make a great difference!

We saw hundreds of these children but even worse were the thousands still stuck on the streets and in tents.

We came away from Haiti with the burden to help Pastor Daniel and his two orph…

Return From Haiti

Yes, we made it back alive. It was a great , exhausting culture shock. We have been to Baja to the Mestako Indians but this was beyond that experience. We have been to the Triqui Indians and their cardboard and plastic homes but this was a greater stretch. We have been 7000 miles to Ukraine but the shock was even more difficult.

"The Earthquake" left extensive damage greater than what we saw on TV. The poverty left us sick at what people did to survive. The heat, humidity, odors, diesel fumes…

We are very close to stepping on the AA flight to Haiti.

Our team is small but very prepared to go and serve the Lord on behalf of Cornerstone.

Dale and Cher Grenie will share the ministry along with Pam and I for 5 days to the earthquake devasted region of Carrefour,Port au Prince, and Petionville. We leave Fri. May 14th.

Our mission will be visit several orphanages to meet the leaders and serve the kids in their needs. We are looking for an opportunity to eventually sponsor one of the…

Adjustment

I went to the chiropractor recently for an adjustment. I have done well with my back for many months now no problem. All winter was fine and I was totally amazed. It felt great.

But this spring! Well--- things happened, you know outside in the garden, shoveling,and pulling weeds, and raking and all the outdoor stuff took its toll.

So the back started doing its REBELING. And I really wasn't surprized. I have so much fun in the back yard that I knew sooner or later it would rebel.

Dump! Dump!

Take it to the dump. What a great idea! Just fill up the truck and go unload all the junk.

I recently went to the dump. It was actually quite fun standing in the back of the truck just throwing it all on the ground in the waste area of the dump.

It takes along time to clean out the garage, backyard, attic, trash heap or wherever you may keep all the bad stuff. It piles up so very fast and makes a mess in a hurry.

Easter 2010 is now history but not Jesus Power.

Immunizations

Pam and I went to get our Haiti vaccinations. We are planning to go on an exploratory trip in May to scout out various ministries Cornerstone might have with an orphanage in that needy area.

The Kaiser medical staff said we must be prepared. Since Haiti is a tropical island several shots are mandatory.

Pam and I already have received our Hep.A and Hep.B shots from going to Ukraine. However more is needed.

Hole In Roof

Pam heard a noise on the roof not long ago. We were both asleep in bed. The noise was above our bedroom.

Pam said it was loud like something pawing its way across the rooftop and making loud noises. I didn't hear a thing. Pam woke me up "There is something on our roof". My very brilliant response was "Well I'm not going to get up and go look now".
