Our team members Justin and Nina Fischer are now only a few hundred dollars short of the needed amount.\r\n\r\nOur airfare went up at the last moment and each member of the team had to come forth with another 300. dollars. I heard from the Pastor Marc-Hancy of Merceron. This is the village where most of our outreach will take place. He said they have a new believer. He received Christ and now will be getting married when we are in the village along with another four couples who are and have become believers.\r\n\r\nThe newly committed Christian after being saved burned his down to the ground on purpose. Here is the reason. It was built and dedicated to Satan. He was into the ways of witchcraft. When he found Jesus he got rid of all things belonging to Satan and the demons. This was a very bold step of faith but it freed him from sleeping in Satan's house. God is powerful to free the prisoners of Satan.\r\n\r\nHis new life prompted other family members to accept Christ also. My niece was dancing in the starring role as Marie. Also my sister from West Virginia came many miles through winter snow storms to see her daughter perform the lead role.\r\n\r\nWe were all bursting with pride and excitement to see our beautiful family member achieving a life long dream (she is the ripe old age of 21 years) come true.\r\n\r\nBut no one just walks onto the stage and into a starring role to become an overnight success in the  ballet world. \r\n\r\nBehind the scenes Steph has worked many hard long hours, attended many schools of ballet, studied under many dance instructors and paid a very high price in self discipline and many others ways.\r\n\r\nSuccess in the dance world is costly, very costly. Achievers pay the price for success and the toll on the dancers body is enormous. I believe  professional dancers careers last about 10 years or less.\r\n\r\nSteph is a great example of personal discipline, courage to pursue your goals and total devotion to God. I was totally blown away by what happen last Sunday after the sermon!\r\n\r\nWe had a great \"Sounds of Christmas Joy\" musical worship service with lots of special talent last week and then it happened. They surprised me with a Christmas present.\r\n\r\nThe elders came up with Pastor Mark and said they had a surprise gift for me. First they all prayed for me and Pam and our ministry. Next they put three boxes on a table in front of me and said open.\r\n\r\nIt was like the ad, you know........OPEN...OPEN...OPEN!\r\n\r\nSo I began to open and weep in front of the entire church family. First box was a huge Nikon camera (not the pocket size but the professional size). Second box was a telephoto lens to go with the already huge camera. I think the lens (300mm) weighs about 10 pounds, it is beautiful. Finally the third box  was books teaching me how to use my new photo toys.\r\n\r\nWhat can I say..... I was never so surprised in my life.\r\n\r\nSo this is how I felt as I opened the gifts. First I felt really really loved by this Godly family of believers, then I felt so many emotions like...humbled, tearful, unbelief, how come me?, all too expensive for our struggling group, appreciated and truly honored by my (I mean our) family. It was highlighted by some real objective miracles.  \r\n\r\nLast blog I mentioned the great answer to prayer in crossing the border with hundreds of pounds of clothes.  It was a miracle that we were not charged, refused, or turned around on the spot. \r\n\r\nWe also experienced the miracle of immediate healing for one of our team members suffering from kidney pain since the beginning of the trip.  Halfway through our ministry his pain became very severe.  Our team gathered around him, anointed him with oil, prayed for him, and the pain disappeared.  He began to feel immediate release and the pain never returned.  It was a true miracle from God.\r\n\r\nAnother overwhelming miracle was the reappearance of lost eyedrops.  This incident is difficult to imagine but oh so very true.\r\n\r\nMy wife, Pam, lost her prescription eyedrops.  They were missing for two days.  These were very important because of complications regarding glaucoma and iritis.  It was a stressful and fearful unknown dilemna for Pam being 700 miles from home in a foreign country and with no eye protection.\r\n\r\nHere was the miracle. After two days, just before going to bed, the eyedrops reappeared in the very place where they had disappeared.\r\n\r\nPreviously, Pam and I had searched the bunkhouse from top to bottom and especially the location where they were last seen.  Now suddenly they were back in plain sight and just waiting to be discovered and used again that night.\r\n\r\nHere is the very special and personal lesson for Pam and for me also.  \"Don't ever worry about your eyes again.  God will always take care of your eyesight.\"\r\n\r\nWe have never experienced this kind of a miracle before in the many years we have been in ministry.\r\nWe stand in awe of what God did and the great blessing of assurance that He will take care of all the needs of His children.\r\n\r\nPraise God.  He is great. This includes things like clothes, blankets, toys, gifts for children etc. These are the very things we are taking down to give to migrant farm workers.\r\n\r\nWe have a trailer full, literally to the top of contributions given by our church members and friends including about 100+ pounds of rice and beans.\r\n\r\nHere are our choices,  not take all this stuff,  cut it down to a few things, try a different border crossing, pass through in the middle of the night, or pray for a miracle.\r\n\r\nWill you help us pray for God's miracle to get everything through the guards without incident?  We could lose everything or God could protect everything.
