ALMOST BUT....NO
11-11-2010
Well it sometimes happens that way. We thought we were making a move to our own building for Worship each Sunday.
But no.... it did not happen. We had many dreams for the new location, but ....no. We were going to have Thanksgiving and Christmas in our own building,but...no. Our youth would finally have room to meet and play games and goof off in their own room, but ...no. Everything was going to be really special,but... no.
The move did not materialize because it was too expensive, I mean really too very expensive...so God shut the door and we didn't have to think very long to know His answer was CLEAR TO US.
Sometimes things are not so clear but this was truly very clear.... no moving to that really perfect location and perfect new outreach. No, Nit, Nada.
So all we can do is say thank you Lord you know best. We will wait on the Lord and be content with what we have.
Do you know what I mean???

STILL REJOICING OVER BAJA MIRACLES
10-20-2010
We had so many blessings on our recent trip. It was highlighted by some real objective miracles.
Last blog I mentioned the great answer to prayer in crossing the border with hundreds of pounds of clothes. It was a miracle that we were not charged, refused, or turned around on the spot.
We also experienced the miracle of immediate healing for one of our team members suffering from kidney pain since the beginning of the trip. Halfway through our ministry his pain became very severe. Our team gathered around him, anointed him with oil, prayed for him, and the pain disappeared. He began to feel immediate release and the pain never returned. It was a true miracle from God.
Another overwhelming miracle was the reappearance of lost eyedrops. This incident is difficult to imagine but oh so very true.
My wife, Pam, lost her prescription eyedrops. They were missing for two days. These were very important because of complications regarding glaucoma and iritis. It was a stressful and fearful unknown dilemna for Pam being 700 miles from home in a foreign country and with no eye protection.
Here was the miracle. After two days, just before going to bed, the eyedrops reappeared in the very place where they had disappeared.
Previously, Pam and I had searched the bunkhouse from top to bottom and especially the location where they were last seen. Now suddenly they were back in plain sight and just waiting to be discovered and used again that night.
Here is the very special and personal lesson for Pam and for me also. "Don't ever worry about your eyes again. God will always take care of your eyesight."
We have never experienced this kind of a miracle before in the many years we have been in ministry.
We stand in awe of what God did and the great blessing of assurance that He will take care of all the needs of His children.
Praise God. He is great. He does great and mighty things.

YOUR PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED
09-21-2010
What a great trip! The Baja Mission is completed.
Because you prayed crossing the border was actually easy and without incident. We crossed at Tecati and the young guard was very pleasant and superficially looked around. He purfunctally punched a few of our bags with his hands and let us go.
We gave away hundreds of pounds of clothes, 150 pounds of rice and beans, plastic tarps for shelter,
and many toys for kids. We also gave away the message of Jesus with lots of love to the Mistako and Triqi Indians as well as the national Hispanics.
Fulfilling the great commission is a great privilege and a greatly rewarding experience.
Thank you for holding us up in prayer before the Lord. Look for our Baja Mission trip photos on our Media page and click on Photos. They should soon appear.
Perhaps next year you will be able to join us on this very exciting and miraculous adventure for Jesus.

PRAY PRAY MUCH PRAY IN FAITH
09-07-2010
Prayer is what our Baja Mission Team really needs this week.
We are going to Baja on Saturday and will cross the border on Sunday Sept. 12th about 9AM. Here is the problem.
The mission is telling us that the border guards are not allowing extra things across the border now. This includes things like clothes, blankets, toys, gifts for children etc. These are the very things we are taking down to give to migrant farm workers.
We have a trailer full, literally to the top of contributions given by our church members and friends including about 100+ pounds of rice and beans.
Here are our choices, not take all this stuff, cut it down to a few things, try a different border crossing, pass through in the middle of the night, or pray for a miracle.
Will you help us pray for God's miracle to get everything through the guards without incident? We could lose everything or God could protect everything. Please pray for this great passage to be a great blessing from the Lord.
Thanks for being on the team as our praying partners.

GREAT RICHES
08-30-2010
We were on a short vacation to San Diego. we stayed in an inexpensive hotel on the bay, All around the bay were boats of all kinds from dingy's to sail boats to big boats and even much much bigger yachts. I am saying really big 30-40 million dollar SHIPS!
Also in S.D. were many wealthy people driving expensive cars, motorhomes and living in hilltop mansions which could see the bay or ocean. We were amazed at all the wealth every where we went in this beautiful seaside city of S.D.
Then I read a verse from Prov.22:1 It was a great lesson !!! It read, "A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold"
I began to think about what Solomon said---- a godly reputatin is worth more than a 40 million dollar yacht. ---- a good name makes a man richer than someone with a mansion on the hill, hmm.... hmm...
By the way the man who owned the 40 million dollar yacht was paranoid. He was afraid of being kidnapped. He had 5-6 big bold body guards surrounding him as he boarded his boat. The man lived in fear of losing his life. Extremely rich but extermely afraid of being ransomed. What a prison of wealth. Rich but always in fear of robbery extortion carjacked, "shipjacked" ETC.
In God's eyes everone who has a good name is WEALTHY. I began to realize that riches are a great prison for most people. After all value is determined by God. He gives us value, He alone sets the price of true wealth.
To be esteemed by God is the greatest and highest value of all. Solomon is really saying to us. GUARD YOUR NAME AND YOU WILL HAVE GREAT WEALTH
No wonder the Bible tells us, all can be rich in Christ. God bless you my rich brothers and sisters!
