Immunizations

Pam and I went to get our Haiti vaccinations. We are planning to go on an exploratory trip in May to scout out various ministries Cornerstone might have with an orphanage in that needy area.

The Kaiser medical staff said we must be prepared. Since Haiti is a tropical island several shots are mandatory.

Pam and I already have received our Hep.A and Hep.B shots from going to Ukraine. However more is needed.

Today we received typhoid, tetenas, and pneumonia(me only this one). We also need Malaria medications starting four weeks prior to departure.

If our trip were any longer they also recommended Rabies (3 of them) shots too. We said no to this one since neither of us plan on petting any stray animals.

There is no substitute for prepartion. One must always be ready to guard against the hidden attacks of the bacteria world.

What a lesson for us today!

There are many hidden spiritual attacks in the Christian world too.We need to be on guard for the sneak attacks of our eternal enemy. He infects the health of many believers.

Eph. 6:11 "Put on the full armor of God so you can take your stand against the devils schemes"

The spiritual world of attacks is much worse than the bacterial world of disease. The enemy can destroy your spiritual health forever.

Apostle Paul told us to put on the full armor of God so we may stand securely and victoriously against his power.

Join me in wearing the Helmet of salvation, Breastplate of righteousness, Belt of truth, Shield of faith, and Sword of the Spirit.

We can defeat all enemies with this kind of protection wherever we go even to a foreigh country.
